Jay-Allen Eisen has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America in the area of appellate practice. Selection to be included in Best Lawyers is by vote of lawyers across the country based on their appraisal of the legal abilities of their colleagues. Best Lawyers is considered to be the definitive guide to legal excellence, and has been called "the most respected referral list of attorneys in practice" in America.

Jay-Allen Eisen named Super Lawyer.

Jay-Allen Eisen has again been listed in Northern California Super Lawyers, an annual listing of the top attorneys in Northern California. Super lawyers are selected by survey of attorneys, followed by review by a blue ribbon panel and independent research and data verification.

Jay-Allen Eisen chairs State Bar Committee on Appellate Courts.

Jay-Allen Eisen has been installed as Chair of the California State Bar's Standing Committee on Appellate Courts. He will chair the committee until October, 2006. The committee reviews and comments on proposed changes to the rules of court affecting appellate courts; reviews and comments on proposed legislation affecting appellate court operation and appellate practice; and proposes legislative and rules changes in these areas. As an Approved Legal Specialization Provider in the area of Appellate Law, the committee also plans and presents continuing education programs.
